ABOUT OUR CONGREGATION...
You have a standing invitation to visit the warm fellowship and worship services of the Sedro-Woolley, Washington congregation, where we strive to learn and live the Word of God. We are dedicated to:
- Preaching Christ's gospel of the Kingdom of God.
- Teaching the Ten Commandments as a way of life.
- Reaching out in fellowship, service, and love.

CHURCH SERVICES
Our church services are on the Sabbath (Saturday), and they usually are held at the Masonic Lodge in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, [see directions and maps] beginning at 1:00p.m. The services typically include hymn singing, a sermonette (a short message, for 10-15 minutes), a sermon, and announcements. No offering is collected at Sabbath services. Coffee, other beverages, and snacks are served at each church service.
One of our goals is to make each service a valuable education in God’s Word, the Bible. United Church of God sermons are generally as informative as college Bible classes. Most members bring their Bibles, and many members take notes. Many come early and stay a while afterwards for the fellowship.
Children of all ages are invited to attend. For small children, parents can bring books, coloring book, and non-noisy toys to occupy them. For children who take naps, parents can bring a pad and small blanket so children can sleep next to them.

OUR PASTOR AND ASSISTANT PASTORS
Our Pastor is Don Hooser. He and his wife Elsie live in Bellingham, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Hooser’s website is www.hooser.com. There you will find their autobiographies, family photos, and an archive of articles that Don has written, mostly for church publications.
Two other elders, Seldon Olson and Richard Oettel, serve as assistant pastors. Seldon and his wife Paula and Richard and his wife Mary live at Bellingham.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
The Sedro-Woolley congregation has other activities. It works closely with surrounding congregations in planning social, recreational, educational, and sports activities for the teens, preteens, and adults. Click on Announcement Bulletins for upcoming activities.
